A look at three game demos on the xbox 360 Live marketplace that are good for the whole family to play.

There are some game demos that are available on the Xbox 360 Live marketplace that are simply not good for the kids to be playing. Here are three that will be finefor the kids, so long as they aren’t too young.

Sonic Unleashed Demo

Put out by Sega in the action/adventure genre, this game is only rated an E10 on the ESRB rating scale meaning that everyone over the age of 10 can play it without worry. There is a little bit of fantasy violence and animated blood, but it’s going to be very tame in comparison to some other games out there.

It is a single player game demo that was released on the 15th of December in 2008. It is 187MB in size, so it will take up next to nothing on the XBOX 360 hard drive. The game’s demo is of the first level of gameplay. Just enough to give a taste of the action but not enough to keep you busy for long periods of time without buying the full version.

Walt Disney Pictures Bolt Demo

This game was put out by Avalanche and Buena Vista Games and is in the family action/adventure genre. It is also rated E10 by the ESRB rating scale so all over the age of 10 can play it. There is a bit of cartoon violence in the demo, but nothing that should be worrisome.

It was released on the 20th of November in 2008 and is a bit larger at 818MB to download. It is a game inspired by the Disney movie Bolt. It is a good bit more of entertainment than smaller downloads, but still falls short of the entire game.

LEGO Batman: The Videogame Demo

This game was released from Traveller’s Tales in the UK and is in the family action/adventure genre. It is rated E10 by the ESRB rating scale so that all over 10 years of age can play. It has a bit of cartoon violence to the demo and the game, and is for one or two players.

There is also a co-op play option. This game demo was released on the 11th of November of 2008 and is 703MB in size. This game has you battling for good as Batman or Robin or as one of the villains to spread your mayhem throughout Gotham City. Either way, it has enough game play to give a taste of what the game is all about.

Game DemosAs these three game demos show, there are some game demos on the XBOX 360 that are going to be fine for the younger set to play. It is not all the hottest shooter game that are put on the game demo list, there are some that are fine for the preteen and teens in the household.
