The Xbox Live Marketplace offers some great games at low prices, but they can be hard to find. Read below for a list of good games for only 200 MS Points each.

Considering Microsoft's bizarre MS point pricing structure of Xbox Live Marketplace, having some leftover MS points is quite common. But don't use those points on throwaway themes and gamer pics. Tons of 200 point games eagerly await a new owner. While this list may not include all games priced at 200 MS points, it should include most games worthy of mention at that cost.

As of yet, no Xbox Live Arcade games are offered at 200 MS points, except during temporary sales. Any Arcade games that receive a permanent price drop will promptly be added to this list. The pricing of all games listed were obtained from marketplace.xbox.com.

Galax-E-Mail: Xbox Community Game (XNA): 200 MS Points

Inspired by classic arcade shooters such as Galaga and Asteroids, Galax-E-Mail allows players to command a fleet of spaceships to destroy enemies and safely deliver email packages, which happen to contain useful hints and tips on how to play the game.

While perhaps not as timeless as the games from which it's inspired, Galax-E-Mail offers an excellent blend of arcade shooter action and a feeling of space adventure for only 200 MS points.

bricks4ever: Xbox Community Game (XNA): 200 MS Points

The classic break-breaking formula hits the Xbox Live Marketplace. With 50 standard levels, three game modes, and co-op, bricks4ever has a lot of value for brick-breaking enthusiasts.

Gamers unaware of this old-school genre should try the demo first, however, as some may find the genre to be boring and redundant.

Hexothermic: Xbox Community Game (XNA): 200 MS Points

A one-player puzzle game in which the player must use the least amount of electrons possible to "explode" all the atoms on a hexagon-shaped grid.

The game provides soothing audio to make for a relaxing single-player mind-bender.

Cubage: Xbox Community Game (XNA): 200 MS Points

A virtual Rubix cube of sorts. The player must make all sides the same color in the fastest possible time. Hey, at 200 MS Points, it's cheaper than a Rubix Cube and a stop watch!

ZSX4 Guitarpocalypse: Xbox Community Game (XNA): 200 MS Points

Up to 4 players "brawl" in a small level, hoping to score the most points by knocking other players off the map.

An obvious ode to the Smash Brothers franchise, Guitarpocalypse offers decent button-mashing fun for up to 4 players. This type of game works particularly well in a small party with plenty of booze.

Machiavelli's Ascent: Xbox Community Game (XNA): 200 MS Points

The player must navigate a sinking jellyfish through flowing water to reach the surface and absorb the sun's delightful rays. A unique platformer with surprisingly vivid visuals and soothing audio, especially for only 200 MS Points.

Endless Swarm: Xbox Community Game (XNA): 200 MS Points

A tower defense game with a similar style to Missile Defense. Up to 2 players command 8 tower types, choosing where to place the towers and the direction in which they fire.

While unfortunately elementary to tower defense veterans, Endless Swarm should still offer 200 MS points worth of enjoyment, especially for newbies to the genre.

Being: Xbox Community Game (XNA): 200 MS Points

This short lasting, single-player platformer offers about an hour or two of decent gameplay. Being will likely remind old-school gamers of the kind of platformers offered during the MS-DOS and early Windows era of gaming.

Ladybird Galaxy: Xbox Community Game (XNA): 200 MS Points

A fun party game for up to 4 players with co-op and battle modes, Ladybird Galaxy offers addictive, point-grabbing fun for a low price.

After learning the controls, this quick-paced party title should offer at least 200 MS points worth of fun, especially during multiplayer matches.

List of Xbox Live Marketplace 200 MS Point Games Conclusion

While it may be tempting to spend leftover MS points on frivolous gamerpics and themes, the sheer amount of games priced at 200 MS points should mean there's a cheap game on Xbox Live Marketplace for just about anyone.
