Mafia Wars players will be delighted with the availability of Boosts and also a new job level in Cuba.
There is good news for Facebook Mafia Wars fans. Zynga has just introduced a new level to the section of the game that takes place in Cuba. Along with the new levels, Zynga has introduced new items called Boosts. Mafia Wars fans are sure to be pleased with these new upgrades to the game. Facebook Jobs for El CaciqueAfter reaching level 151 or higher, players now have access to the jobs in the El Cacique category. El Cacique is a person who is responsible for or has authority over other men or hombres. The jobs in this category include arranging laundering money through a resort where the payout is between $5,614 and $6,523 and the player receives Experience points of +124. Looting the National Museum brings Experience points of 131+ and taking over the Havana Reconstruction brings a whopping 138+. The bad news about this category is the amount of requirements necessary to complete the job. Sending some help home to New York requires 24 RAS-29 guns and 20 Wise Guys. Considering one of those RAS-29 guns cost $15,000 and a Wise Guy costs $30,000, some serious dinero is going to be plunked down before accomplishing this level. Mafia Wars BoostsBoosts are a genius idea by Zynga. A player in Cuba simply goes to their inventory page and in the section next to Weapons, Armor and Vehicles, there is now a box called Boosts. Boosts are called one-shot items by Zynga and they can help a player fight or defend themselves better. The really good news is that when a player acquires certain Boosts, they can receive discounts on energy required on certain jobs. Since energy goes extremely fast in Mafia Wars and jobs cannot be completed without it, these Boosts will be very valuable to players. Zynga warns players to use their Boosts wisely as they can only buy up to twenty of each per day. Boosts include an extra pair of eyes which adds +3 fight defense skill, hot coffee which adds +5 attack skills and a mean looking mutt which adds +5 robbing defense skills to name a few. Boost items can be added to a player’s wish list. The eyes, coffee and the mutt can all be purchased by players. The eyes cost $20,000, the coffee costs $200,000 and the mutt costs $2,000,000. Other items such as blowfish darts and a hobo lookout can be added to the player’s wish list. Also, be sure to check out Facebook Mafia Wars Etiquette Tips for Players.
